DESCRIPTION
History:
This vineyard situated in the Gard département, in the commune of Tavel. It was the favorite drink of King Philippe le Bel, and later of the Avignon popes.
Soil:
White calcareous stone and clay.
Grape Variety:
50% Grenache ; 40% Cinsault ; 10% Syrah.
Age of the vines:
Around 25 years.
Vinification:
Made from “saignées”: cold maceration for a few hours until the desired colour is obtained.
Controlled temperatures of alcoholic fermentation.
Ageing:
6 months in stainless steel tanks.

35 hl/ha.

Deep salmon pink.
Bouquet:
Aromas of tart red berries, such as strawberry and raspberry.
Palate:
Warm and ample with a pleasant final note of freshness.
